The idea that we all have a sleep-driven brain is a very popular one, and there are even websites devoted to this. There's no doubt that our brains are connected to other brain areas and that it's very hard for us to get a good night's sleep without taking the time to "wake up" (or being "sucked in") to someplace and taking a little time to process that new situation.
